Does anyone know if there will be any food available at the Arena besides hotdogs and chips, or is this permanent?
I think it's very embarrassing to see this is the only choice for visiting teams.

Definitely overpriced, but away fans should be considered, especially if they've travelled far.

Away fans would be best advised to utilise centretainment fir better quality, choice and value.

Maybe a daft question but are the food stands on concourse ran by the arena? Always wondered if they could get a third party involved from the Centertainment batch to offer something else, like a pop up stand kind of idea. Don't know how that would actually work to be fair but might get more people eating and spending there.

I believe they are still franchised out , they have always been overpriced, captive audience and all that and lacking in choice but that is what you get when profit is your only motive. At centertainment you have a choice of competing providers which helps keeps prices down, there is no such competition within the arena and it's not like you can walk out and pick up some food from across the road and bring it back in. I'd love to see some of the vendors from the food markets in the city centre given the chance to operate in the arena.

I could be wrong, but every time I'm at the arena there are PLENTY of people eating and drinking from the non value for money concession stands. I doubt the arena struggle for money or punters when the Steelers play with the amount of food and drink consumed on any given game night. If other 3rd parties were allowed to trade, I would have thought the arena would charge them a fortune to rent space/have a stall etc?

Remember.......Dick Turpin wore a mask whilst robbing people :D

We haven't bought or consumed any food from the arena in at least 4 seasons, with the exception of a cup of tea on a cold night.. We eat before we leave or bring sandwiches and eat in car park before game or on a rare treat night, call in somewhere for something on way home..

Arena gets a lot of stick for its food, which I broadly agree with.

However tried their Chilli Chips for the first time on Saturday. Very good to be honest

Never bought food or drink from the arena & I won't either, prices are ridiculous.

I'll continue to bring in a bottle of pop to consume during the game.
