Now I see a tweet rumour about Brandon McNally from the Devils. Jeez if we sign the guys being rumoured can see us struggling to get in top 3.
Hopefully these don't turn out to be true.

The thing is, most of these rumours are completely made up and are in fact baseless..paul johnston wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 6:39 pmNow I see a tweet rumour about Brandon McNally from the Devils. Jeez if we sign the guys being rumoured can see us struggling to get in top 3.

I’d take him as a third liner I’d assume he would be a replacement for eberle, but his stats are inconsistent at best so could be a hit or miss type player.

Some are but they also do get a lot right. I’d say more like 50/50.Jayboy wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 7:08 pmThe thing is, most of these rumours are completely made up and are in fact baseless..paul johnston wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 6:39 pmNow I see a tweet rumour about Brandon McNally from the Devils. Mitchell looks like a decent 3rd line winger, offers nice size which we very rarely offer in forward positions. And you don’t get AHL call-ups for nothing.
Would be a surprise as I don’t believe we’ve recruited anyone under Fox directly from North America without European experience on the big ice, it’s a different game.
Also worth noting Piccinich scored a paltry 29 points in the ECHL the season before dominating the EIHL. A lot depends on how a player is deployed on bigger ice, and their roles which can’t always be deduced from EliteProspects.

He’s not all that big in the grand scheme of things considering several players knocking about the league who are 220lbs+, he’s just seeming big compared to what we’ve gotten used to over the recent years, also as we’ve seen it’s how any size is used also not just size as we’ve had some shockers for being big but play like they are made of paper mache

Not a rumour but Rok has signed for a team in Poland so unless Barry returns we will have at least one new import goalie

His PPG is better than Eberle's in the ECHL, but as proven above with Piccinich can be a whole different story once they arrive here. He could explode, but I think we might see something similar to Eberle's first season just with a bit more puck luck and finishing hopefully (if he is signing obviously)SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Sun Jul 10, 2022 3:37 pmMitchell looks like a decent 3rd line winger, offers nice size which we very rarely offer in forward positions. If he plays in the same mould as Eberle then I'd be more than happy, we need energy players as well as top points scorers, if he can put up some decent numbers too then bonus!
