No change in net as Greenfield skates out between the pipes.
Don’t understand why he wasn’t changed. We won this game easily. Give Greenfield an early night.

The important game of the weekend is tomorrow.

Manchester are an average side that will be good at home. I expect we will beat them at the arena every game.

I understand the showbiz MOM award but for me Allen was the man. He's a throwback gritty centre, faceoff success seemed to be huge tonight, physical on the forecheck with goals and assists.
He may be the game changer for us, a very un-Foxy like player, but when we are struggling in those Feb late season games he may make the difference.

Was great to see the slow starting new imports have a better game, I thought Neumann was very good and unlucky not to score. Much credit to the fourth line too who were outstanding.

I think the Piche- Mosey d pairing were on the ice for both goals and were a bit weak today.

Generally was a much better show but hard to judge because I don't think Storm have much quality.

Not a great game really, good to see a few different names in the points column, I thought Manchester were abysmal tbh.

Next.

Last 10 minutes let the foot off the gas a bit, but up till then it was pretty dominant. Allen was excellent in every zone, and definitely a lot more confident from all the team.

Forecheck was really strong tonight, created so many turnovers. McNally, Allen and Ciampini all good down low on the boards and Raska, Latal excellent stick lifts and constant pressure.

Definitely better than the Coventry games (missed last weekend)

I was just saying to @Greenbunch257 Eric on the way out, it was a decent game and I actually enjoyed that, Scott Allen was brilliant all night... the only player I cant get my head around it Tomáš Pitule, he is so slow going forward and if its possible even slower to get back and as turning circle that large he has to do a 3 point turn... :meh:

Will be interesting to see what happens with Pitule when Mitchell arrives.

I would push Brandon up to third line and let Pitule centre the fourth line. Let pitule do a defensive solid role and give Brandon a chance to create offence.

If Mitchell arrives (surely he should be on his way now) can keep Pitule as a spare. I think he could do a solid fill in job when injuries happen. And they will!

I thought we were very good tonight with more positives than negatives.

I thought we dominated the game and our special teams were outstanding again.

Petgrave was good, but Allen should have been mom. Our faceoffs are still terrible, but he was outstanding and throw in goals, assists, fights and generally an outstanding power forward performance and you'll know where I'm coming from.

The other negative was Our lack of goals 5 on 5. When we're so dominant, we need to score more 5 on 5.

I know a few talked down our Guildford win.....doesn't look too bad now.

Regards

Maybe it was just block 104 but I was very cold in the arena tonight..
I know it's ice hockey but as one who has been going since 1992 , I can't remember it being as cold as this.

I found myself shivering at some intervals, it was bloody freezing. I kind of forgot about the temperature from the excitement of the game though. Still looking for McLaughlin and Warburton getting ice time, especially against an opponent like Manchester
Is it bedtime yet
