I see in the match review they've finally thanked Kameron Kielly for his efforts. I can only assume the way he departed left a slightly bitter taste with the club.
With Nevalainen unavailable due to injury, it shows again the importance of the Shudra signing. Shudra and Jones both finished +3 for the night and statistically were the best defensive pairing on the ice.
After last Sunday it was important we got back to winning ways and in the end we did it with style.
More of the same next weekend please.

Excellent result. Foxy seems to have recruited some real talent. Playing one game per weekend was a bonus. Unfortunately we have to play 4 in a week around Christmas ! But then I suppose all teams have to. I think this will be a crucial time, hope we stay injury free . The Giants have really suffered from an extended injury list with broken bones all over the place!

Just watching the highlights now. The two goals conceded are worth some study, the first was a turnover caused by a pass behind our player which left the two D ( Sauce and Diff ) no chance to recover, the second was not a pass from Greener straight to an opposition player, it was to Sauce who caught it with the end of his stick blade which deflected it to the Flames player. Standout performance from Simpson , lovely stick lift to cause the turnover for the first and great hands for his own goal, Allen also shows incredible skill for the 6th goal. Highlights are at https://youtu.be/bgyFe0w5JeM?si=XGoOfxdVogpBE-yD

Really can’t read it that way Mark. Greener plays a pass behind him without looking into open space. If it took a deflection of our player he was already at full body and stick reach he could never have got it. Greener is brilliant but he has this one weak spot.

Fair enough but I see two Steelers players that the pass was towards. Greener has saved our bacon so many times I can't pull him up for the very rare error, if it is a weak spot then I'm happy to accept it when balanced against the rest of his game, it's also the case that if any of our players didn't make mistakes and had no weak spots then they wouldn't be playing here at all, they would be earning mega dollars in the top world leagues.Bryan wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 2:08 pmReally can’t read it that way Mark.
