Guildford threw absolutely everything at the Steelers in that 3rd period tonight but Greenfield backed up by superb D saw us through & well deserved win in the Final.
Special mentions to Greenfield, Simpson, Balmas but Diffley tonight was absolutely phenomenal, he was outstanding at both ends of the ice & well deserved man of the match!
Well played tonight boys, a victory that was well deserved.

To be fair, considering Guildfords record at the Arena nothing was certain.
A cracking & very enjoyable Final.

Honestly, that was an absolutely great game to watch. Greenfield showing why he's the best in the league, defence solid and every player had their work boots on. Great stuff, and what a way to kick off the final 10 games in the league.
1 down, now to make sure it's not the only one we finish with.
That said, I think it'll just be a (well deserved) "optional" skate tomorrow!

Well done lads. A deserved victory. We dominated the physical play which was a nice surprise for me as I expected that from Guildford. A good start, great first period and a superb defensive third period got us over the line. Outshot two to one, an amazing defensive performance.
I had terrible seats in 108, but thought the atmosphere was the best I’ve heard for years!
While trying not to end on a downer, I’m afraid I can’t do with Simms as announcer anymore and for those of you that attend every game, I tip my hat to you. I have no intention of attending further home games while he is still at the helm. I wrongly thought today would have been a more neutral affair, not just another home game, with the same music and intro.
Anyway, well done lads, enjoy a few light refreshments and let’s get the league won now!
