Brilliant planning and performance, especially given the loss of key players, others having to step in and some double shifting to secure the win.

Although we might have been feeling unlucky to lose such good players for the final. It has turned out differently. Fox was fully prepared to double shift our remaining stars because it was the last game and he didn’t have to have his eye on the next game. Well done Fox. I’m delighted for him and for our owner for sticking by him.

I've been lucky enough to see all 3 grand slams - it might be recency bias but this one tops the other 2. Unreal.

Absolute warriors to a man. A coach you would run through walls for. And a sense that this is the most tight-knit group of players we've probably ever had.

I’m trying to think back as are others. It is difficult to make comparisons. My feeling is the league this year was more competitive than in the case of the other grand slams. If my memory is accurate, perhaps that’s why this one feels as if its the best.
