Very much looking forward to this, even though we still have to be considered underdogs.
I don't expect Sparta to take us lightly after yesterday, so I'm expecting a very fast and physical game.
All can ask is the guys come out and continue where they've been these last two games.

My first live game this season and I'm really looking forward to it.
As I've mentioned with the previous games, considering the quality of the opposition, I'd expect us to lose. All we can ask is that the team give 100% (we'd expect nothing less from this group) and we remain competitive throughout.
I'd suggest the pressure is on Sparta, because they're expected to win.
Hopefully another surprise, but obviously it's a big ask. If things don't go our way, I hope the crowd stay with the team who have already exceeded all expectations.
Regards

Perhaps taking an attitude of "this is all pre-season for our main targets" might help a few fans avoid feeling disappointed.
Truth is that this is perfect pre-season prep, a series of competitive games against teams and players who are at a higher level than our normal opposition and if we can match this higher level then we have nothing to fear in the season ahead, as long as we bring the work rate and discipline of course, forget that and we will lose games.
This team has already exceeded my expectations being so competitive with some of the biggest teams in Europe, beating the Lakers on merit, not a smash and grab as others have pointed out, could have had a point out of Fribourg. If there were any EIHL teams wondering about what level the Steelers would be at in this new season they certainly know now.

What's impressed me most so far is how few penalties we've taken during CHL games - the 2 against Vaxjo were accidental high sticks when battling for pucks - certainly suggests that we can match the speed of these teams, or at least have strategies to do so without getting in bad positions.
In the past this has generally been the downfall of UK sides in European competition.

I'll be sunning myself in Spain
I'd already had this holiday booked well before the CHL fixtures were announced. Gutted I'm missing both the home games live.
I would imagine that I'll be able to get the CHL stream as I'm guessing the Steelers won't do one with the CHL doing their own?

never used arena car park in all these years, we always park over road on little industrial area , back of kfc area but that also gets busy but we have always managed to squeeze in somewhere and its always easier to get out than arena car park is,,,,,
