Return of the Sauce, I hope he gets a good welcome as he was brilliant for us.

Coventry managed to edge out Cardiff but Devils created a lot of chances. Robson played well but I thought some of Devils finishing was poor (had at least 2 clear breakaways). Coventry short on D so it's a good opportunity to relentlessly forecheck and grind down their D.

If we can bag a 4 point weekend I'd say we're looking good for at least top 2 finish in the group and automatic semi final.

Blaze have had a decent start to the season, but what has been noticeable is that in most games they've been out shot and out chanced.

I think Robson is a very good netminder and it looks like they've been riding his hot form.

I suspect we'll dominate the play tonight, but will we be able to solve how to get the puck past Robson? My guess is Blaze will defend in numbers and try to hit us on the break.

Luciani has started well for them again, with 4 goals from 4 games. Their top points scorer though is Matthew Gleason. He comes into the season with an average CV, so have they unearthed another gem?

Sauce has put up decent numbers so far. I'm sure he'll get the reception he deserves. I would have kept him on our team, so was a little disappointed he ended up down there. I'm sure he'll be fired up for tonight.

I wonder who sits for us tonight.

Regards

Think Greenfield will get this one and give McAdam the Guildford game.

I must admit I’m looking forward to the league games starting, but having plenty of CC games has given Fox chance to tweak lines and systems ready for the league campaign starting.

I’m sure Sauce will get a well deserved good reception.

4-3 Steelers.

I seem to be in a minority here as I wasn't fussed about Saucerman leaving tbh.

What I am fussed about is my eardrums are at breaking point!

Won’t be a memorable 1st period that one.

Hate playing against short-benched teams.

We need to up the intensity if we want to win here.

Still not a fan of non contact hockey I’m afraid.
