I look forward to the official explanation on the situation regarding Nick Seitz, if only to understand the reasoning behind such a poor transition into our team.. he is or at least was decent player with the potential to put up good numbers in this league, so apart from fan speculation, its a untold story...
Not really though, the most likely is it just hasn't worked. Sometimes it doesn't - it's not any fault of player or coach, just the way it goes. I don't think there's much here except that.
I think a few people want to blame Fox (because they always do) - there were rumours he'd fallen out with Mark Simpson which now looks stupid, and it does feel like any criticism goes towards him and not players, or the fact that theres a cig paper between about 4/5 teams

Are you implying I blame Aaron Fox? I dont and never said I did! Maybe it just hasnt worked out.. I am fine with that...
Ive not attached fault either! I simply said I will be interested in the reasoning behind it, whatever that reason is! Why is that such a hard ask?

No not you specifically, but there definitely are a few around. But there is a tone that suggests there's more to it than simply a decent player just not working out.
It's more than likely just that. Not a player with much baggage, doesn't appear to be high maintenance, so the most logical answer is it's just not worked. Even if there was something behind the scenes, you'd never get an exact explanation from any organisation until a long time after.
The best you'll get from the club is "just didn't work out", regardless whether there is more to it than that
If Seitz is out I'll be disappointed that he wasn't given more of a chance.
I did have a question mark over him, because last seasons stats were a bit of an outlier, but having achieved what he did in our league and Fox having seen him play on a regular basis, I assumed he liked what he'd seen.
Unless there's a reason outside of just playing ability, Fox should have picked up any flaws in his game before signing him.
For me this would sit with Fox, but errors of judgement do happen, even to the best coaches.
If Seitz is out, I could see him heading back to Coventry. It will be interesting to see how he gets on elsewhere.
Just watched the highlights back and checked the game sheet. A few missed assists on Steelers goals - Balmas should have one on Pu's third and Gentile should have one on Balmas goal (and possibly should have one on the second Pu goal, although can't tell if he touched it or just lifted the Cov player's stick).
Tait -2A
Gentile - 1A but should be 2/3
Balmas - 1+1
Harper - 1A
Jasper - 1G
Juusola - 1A
Pu - 3G
Chemistry on lines looks better - Pu's 3rd is a perfect regroup with a controlled zone entry, started by a cracking pass from Balmas. Best bit of play of the year so far

I post what they put on the EIHL website at the time, surprising how many they get wrong.
