Fair to say we can count ourselves very lucky. Must do much better if we want to be genuine title contenders.

Thanks for the updates SP.

We could learn a thing or two from Flames about defending.

Excellent game for the neutrals.

Much better than Sunday, but still have issues in the D zone and creating grade A chances. Hopefully a bit more confidence can be built because it's a big part of it I think at the moment.

IBN needs to be up full time. Looks ready, skates well and big body that did very well in board battles. Reece Kelly was also very good.

Some cracking goals.

Bet Guildford are wondering if they’ll ever be at full strength.

I note that, according to the excellent "Mick's Steelers Stats" site, Matt Greenfield has now moved into second place in the "Netminder Minutes" category, ahead of Moose by 10 minutes and with only Jody Lehman still to catch. Also he is joint first (level with Lehman) on "Wins" with 149, despite playing 40-odd games fewer.

Congratulations Matt: keep up the good work!

Did anyone see what Jake Coughler did at the end of the game? It must have been bad to earn himself a 3 game suspension!

We all wondered what he did too, everyone around us was asking the same question when they gave hime the game misconduct, we sort of concluded it was for verbal unsportsmanly conduct at the time... :hey:
