Crikey only just seen this - didn’t realise this was the situation.
Had higher hopes at the start of the season and in the pre-season I honestly thought the Neilson-Tremblay-Shudra line looked promising. Seemed to fade quite rapidly and like others I thought the game Nordstrom had (was it Fife if I remember?) he looked promising.
Oh dear.. As others have said tho - the coach is in charge not the players. I’ve said on here before I’m not sure the rotation system will be helpful for this teams morale, I guess for Logan there’s a maturity thing here that’s obviously in question.
Speaking of rotation - I feel like I haven’t seen Southorn for a while - I’ve thought he’s performed well with some great offense at times? Have I missed something?

I don't understand Logan's thought pattern here? he would be much better playing and taking what ever ice time he gets, and then reviewing his position as the season progresses! even playing down with the dogs or ano team would benefit his game and keep him in the 'shop window' as such. I think he's had a bust up with Fox and walked away, perhaps over the inclusion of IBN who interestingly looks a very good prospect for a role longer term.
I can't see him ever coming back to wear orange again or gold for that matter, so his options will be limited if he thinks he's worth a spot in a 'top' team.

Southorn has been ok - at times very good, and then at times not so good. I expected at the start of the year to see him and Diffley probably rotating as healthy scratch (assuming no injuries), but Diffley has simply been outstanding this year, and pushing Cormier as to which one of them has been our best D.MLL79 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 2:44 pmCrikey only just seen this - didn’t realise this was the situation.

Southorn is a proper pro - he spoke in his interview on signing he was coming in as a role player, so I don't think there'll be any issue with him. He's been around, he'll be aware he's at the end of his career so is probably happy in the sense he gets an MBA whilst still contributing to the group and providing cover.
Agree 100% - Diff been one of my faves for a while now - not my typical cup of tea as I generally prefer the Corey Buelieu mould of D man, but that’s probably an old school thing, but he’s won me over to become a favourite. I don’t know how he recovers the puck or protects it some times, was really pleased when he was resigned.ginger wrote: ↑Wed Dec 03, 2025 11:59 amSouthorn has been ok - at times very good, and then at times not so good. Shame about Logan really, hope he’s happy in Fife but really disappointed with the attitude, I suppose this was the only possible outcome given his stance. Totally toxic for morale and can’t have that in the team.
Cheers
