Much better all round. Still a deficit in faceoffs which has become a chronic issue and more of a problem against the better teams. Not sure Pu can crack it. Well done McAdam to get shut out.

Pretty decent performance overall. If Stars had managed to pull a goal back in their strong push back second period to make it 2-1 the momentum could have swung in their favour. We looked a lot better with Southorn back in the team. Where that leaves the rest of the D corps and our alleged aim to run four full lines who knows.

LeFevre interview . He says something happened in the first period which is under investigation and so he can't say any more. Anyone any ideas ?

That's more like the result you'd expect to a 2nd from bottom team with only 3 regulation league wins all season. Sounds like a full 60 minute performance from us.

Pleased for McAdam getting the shutout as well. He appears to be legitimately challenging for the number spot with his last two performances. This is only a good thing for me.

Perhaps Dundee used up all their energy beating Nottingham the night before?

I've not listened to the interview with LeFebvre. If there is something 'under investigation', then I think we wait for the outcome (if any). The only obvious issues that might trigger an investigation from the game sheet, could be the goal review and 'abuse of official' penalty, all related to the 1st period.

I didn’t see the game, but it sounds like we put in a solid effort and took our chances.

Overall a negative weekend though, losing further ground on the Panthers. I think they've only dropped 1 point to date against teams outside the big 4, whereas we've slipped up a few times.

A shut out for McAdam now takes his save percentage up to 97.74%, which is a fantastic effort. Also good to see Juus get another....he's really starting to motor.

Faceoffs continue to be a worry though, with us being below 50% on the night.

Regards

Highlights of the Dundee game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wU9FA_ ... VlIHN0YXJz

I guess the 'incident' was the non call on Pu for holding or high sticking?? which led to the Bean abuse of official penalty. To be fair I think Cliff Pu could've been penalised for that but I wouldn't call it an incident. LeFebvre seemed to me to be gesturing from the bench that the ref had been bribed.

Seems nothing has come from the 'investigation' as yet. I can't see why it would.

The odd thing is after the game in his interview Lefebvre said he couldn't comment on something that had happened and he had had a phone call about it already
I didn't see anything for even ET to phone home about.!

I was wondering that too, unless he was getting told off for the bribe gesture. That said, if something is under investigation, they'll probably edit whichever incident it was out of the highlights, or wait to post them until the investigation is complete.
