Arena Parking and new IS charge

The increased parking charges seemed bad enough for next season at £11 prebooked or £352 for the whole season but now Ice Sheffield have brought in charges for over 2.5 hours of £15, the arena price does not seem as awful! It’s still a lot of money on top of the season ticket price hike.
Do be warned all you who use IS parking!

It is my understanding that it is now in use.
It’s for patrons of IS and the driver has to submit the car registration on arrival in reception to get the 2.5 hours free.
It is suggested on other platforms that the question of parking by hockey club members for their 4 hour training sessions is being looked into by IS.
However as a Steelers supporter it makes the Arena parking at £11 per game (or £352 per season ) seem more appealing than £15 per game or possible £100 fine if one tried to get away with it and mistimed the 2.5 hours!

Definitely keep the pressure up, very much one of these "give an inch, lose a mile" situations. As they'll just charge users a year or two later after this initial "excitement" settles down and goes out of memory.
