A poor start by both teams. Devils improved steadily and finished well. Steelers deteriorated dramatically. A performance littered with misplaced passes, poor turnovers, one and out visits to the offensive zone. By the end it was an embarrassing collection of individuals rather than a team. The final irony was this was against a Thompson coached side.
After a month abroad I was looking forward to our last game on Saturday. Now I shall just be glad to catch up with our arena neighbours. This season cant finish quickly enough.

I know the memory fades but that was one of the most disappointing performances I've ever watched.
No cohesion, no desire and very little skill.
It's going to be a difficult watch to the end of the season which can't come quick enough.

Whilst I take the pee out of Paul Thompson. His side is above us in the league and I’d say is more entertaining to watch.
Fox though, is untouchable. This season’s hockey is as bad as anything the greatest coach in the history of hockey served up when Steelers coach.
Yet they’ll be another 8,000 crowd the next dead rubber home game. The mind boggles.
Really hope Fox calls it a day coaching the Sheffield Steelers. I’m afraid Tony doesn’t have the balls to make a change IMO.

Seems like Heard is trying to ensure his place next season by fighting and crowd pleasing. Thats ok to show some spirit, although a bit late, however we need good hockey players next year not just pugilists!
Heard won’t be back if Fox is here. Physical play is a big no, no under his tenure.

Can’t wait until the end of the season. This team is unlikely to make the playoffs and in all honesty they deserve to. The hockey is boring and predictable. Other teams have worked out how to play us and there is no plan B to counter this. A complete shake up is needed.
