Panthers take the W in this game 5-2 after a Cangelosi EN & therefore the series, and deservedly so.
Steelers well beaten in truth, 2nd best in all 3 zones.
Panthers worked hard, gave everything and got rewarded.
Congrats to them.
Thoroughly enjoyed the series overall.

Best team won. No arguments at all.
Worryingly we seem a one dimensional team. It's ok playing fast offensive hockey, but when that isn't working, you need to be able to play simple route one physical percentage hockey.
We did that second period and looked better for it. After the early pp goal third period we reverted to what hadn't worked in the first game and the first period.
Was surprised that we were out coached so much over the two games.

Loved the series, hockey is back, well done the Panthers, a deserved 2 game playoff victory, perspective time, would have been nice to win it all, but hockey was the winner for me, bring on September... Nuff said..

I was going to say the same thing Jay. It's been great to see hockey again and it wasn't just guys coasting.
Well done to the Panthers, they peaked at the right time and showed excellent game management.
Matheson is undoubtedly their key player, he runs the game for them. Wouldn't mind us making a bid for Betteridge or Kelsow.

Deserved win for the Panthers no arguments from me. Very disappointed in our overall effort though in the final games.
Enjoyed the games I watched and thought the quality on show was far better than normal.
I expect a drop in quality for next season as we won’t be able to sign the same quality with a lower budget.
