Easy to play Manchester with a lead as eventually they self-implode through a lack of self-control from the coach down, usually resulting in an amusing demise.

Well… a decent performance flattered by springer being an idiot drawing 3pp goals at the end. P2 was scrappy as expected, storm came out after the period break suitably fired up by finnerty!

We are a fast transition team, when all bodies back and lines settled we will be a good team to watch,

Rok in goal had a good game, probably want first one back, no chance with the 3rd.

Like Ellerby, a strong presence on the ice, Latal is a pocket rocket, conns his usual rink rat self

Overall a lot of positives to take from today, the biggest test is tomorrow, will Barry play….

It's good to see the scoring spread around with most of the forwards now having at least one on the board.

That should help confidence moving forward.

Any news on what was wrong with Hodgman? Hopefully only precautionary and he'll be fit for the big game tonight.

A great start to the new season, hopefully a sign of things to come.
