D have offered him nothing in the way of protection really, been sloppy tonight. Most of their goals have been giftwrapped.
He’s not helped himself though really, simple gloves saves going the your legs.

Hopefully it’s a one off because that’s no league winning netminder for me. Then again, a few of us said that about Lehman when we signed him. 😂😂

Brust was poor tonight. I wanted him to do well as much as anyone but 6 goals allowed on your home full game debut is shocking no matter how you put it. Stojanavic was lights out last game so it's a questionable move not to play him tonight in my opinion.

That said, the Steelers team were not the same as other games so far this season.

So that scoring burst from the Flames was too much of an hurdle to overcome in the end.

Am sure Fox will know we shot ourselves in the foot with it, but this happens when you play high risk/reward like we are doing at present. Hopefully tonight will prove to be a wake up call and we can put it right tomorrow night albeit in a barn we have indifferent form in.

Barry, if he has semblance, will admit it wasn't his greatest hockey game tonight. We saw it wasn't.

Better team won tonight. Question marks over Brust, though the skaters didn't help him much, though surely that is when a stud goalie gets you something from the game.

Fox should have learned much about the team through this game.

I was concerned from the off when I saw the lines.

Too many changes for my liking and it showed throughout the game. Guildford looked much more organised and on the same page.

Defensively we were shocking, I would think 4 of the 6 goals were gifted by either poor defensive plays or weak netminding.

The only positives for me were faceoffs and special teams, I thought they were very good tonight.

I suspect there will be some very poor +/- stats tonight, Hodgman had a stinker.

There are too many passengers already in this team. A few guys don't look like they have the hunger and desire, a few guys don't look like they have the legs.

I'd be going with Rok for a good few games. I know the team was poor in front of him (Brust) but come on there was a few he could have done a lot better on.

I do rate Fox but his soon dropping the young guys off regular Ice time when the going gets tough annoys me. I'd have Jones and Graham on the ice more than a few of the big name signings who aren't exactly performing currently.

Was a woeful performance.

Hodgman started off the game great and then his game just fell off after the 10 minute mark.

I think the Latal, Phillips, Todd and Saxrud Danielson combination could go on to be one of our best 4 man PK units ever.

I wasn’t at the game tonight, decided to watch the Bond movie instead.

Let’s hope we don’t have more than 5 passengers as we can only make 5 more changes to our roster.

Out of interest, did Brust look more interested than last game? He looked a long way from the team last week.

We should not be making changes wholesale on the back of one result, especially when there are now limits on how many changes you can make throughout the season.

Perhaps we should see how the team is performing after a full month of action and see who is performing and who is not. Am confident Fox has his own analysis methods in place to make those calls anyway.

We're not a bad side, tonight the wheels just kinda fell off.

Think Guildford should take credit for a good win tonight. I know we were sloppy at times and Brust was weak but they took advantage with their speed and they look stronger defensively than they’ve been before.

The Ellerby penalty in the 3rd cost us although it wasn’t the worst infringement I’ve seen. We had some momentum until that but left with too little time the result was inevitable.

Why pull Brust with 90 seconds left to play and 3 goals down? Don’t get that.

Think Rok should start tomorrow and would expect a response from the rest.
