A fair result in my opinion. Never looked particularly dangerous and when you take so many minor penalties as we do then tiredness is bound to get even the fittest of players.

The result doesn't really matter, but there are a few concerns.
Now Oleksuk is gone we were rubbish at faceoffs.
Our powerplay stinks, partly due to losing the key faceoffs.
DeLuca really needs to start contributing.
Positives are Rok in goal and I thought we were the better team 5 on 5.
I'm not sure what we did wrong to take 8 penalties on the bounce, it really wasn't a dirty game.
The main result for me was in Manchester, where the champions elect (if you read some comments) got battered by Manchester.

Unless De Luca starts contributing, personally I can see him being the next one out.Doom wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 9:42 pmThe result doesn't really matter, but there are a few concerns.

Think we will have to be careful with the “hire and fire” approach this season with the five change rule, we’ve used one with Olekshuk moving on... that’s said don’t disagree about Deluca, not clicked yet,BontSteeler wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 10:43 pmUnless De Luca starts contributing, personally I can see him being the next one out.Doom wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 9:42 pmThe result doesn't really matter, but there are a few concerns.

He essentially walked out on the club and wasn't in anyway fired, I get the point your making, but any player not wanting to be here is not one we should be trying to keep, players who basically want out should be accommodated as quickly has possible to avoid further disruption to the team.Laney wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 9:27 amThink we will have to be careful with the “hire and fire” approach this season with the five change rule, we’ve used one with Olekshuk moving on... that’s said don’t disagree about Deluca, not clicked yet,BontSteeler wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 10:43 pmUnless De Luca starts contributing, personally I can see him being the next one out.Doom wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 9:42 pmThe result doesn't really matter, but there are a few concerns.

He may have had perfectly good reasons and I would not judge a player for wanting to better his financial circumstance but in my opinion that should not be mid way through a season.. I am sorry but Travis as a player will not be remembered as much as a player like Deluca who at the minute is not contributing like he should but has done in the past, plays with passion and very much wants to be here...
