Coventry level it up 3-3. Janne Kivilahti.

2 PP goals against in Brust penalties now.

Blaze giving us a typical hard game as per. They're so improved over the last couple of seasons or so.

Again our fragile PK unit and indiscipline combo is punished, Ryan Penny puts Coventry in front for the first time this evening. 3-4.

Three PP goals for Blaze; I sense Fox is going blow his top methinks at this rate.

Better attendance than Sundays game.

Better game than Sundays game.
Very close. 5484 tonight, 5626 on Sunday.

This sounds like a far more entertaining game as well.

Coventry see out the game without incident, it ends 3-4.

Very poor result against a side with two suspended. Won’t win many conceding 4, but defensive issues are synonymous with an Aaron Fox side.

The 3 PP goals sunk us in the end, can’t take so many minor penalties if we aren’t capable of killing the vast majority off.

An 83% SV% is not much use to anyone but the opposition either, whoever is at fault be it the D or netminder.

Look to have picked up injuries to Ellerby & Connolly.

An evening to forget.

Well put Steelerblade, exactly what I was going to post. Not sure how long Brust can survive.

I really wanted Brust to be our man. I was really excited when he signed.

Unfortunately I don’t think he’s the stud goalie we need.

Not particularly impressed with Ellerby either considering his NHL experience.

If you repeatedly play a netminder who is underperforming, clearly not fit, who in this game also takes two silly individual penalties, and concedes a couple of soft goals, then you have to question the coach. Especially when it's an important game, and you have a clear in form number one. Madness.
For Connolly to also take a stupid penalty, when we are in a tight, close game, then you have to question that too. It's not like it's the first time.
What frustrates me is that the young lads get benched(admittedly not in this game) when games become close because senior pros do this.
I actually thought Ellerby had a great first period. Todd however, a bit like Bettauer, looks great skating and on the puck but seems to be on the ice whenever a goal conceded.
I actually think the team has a lot of on ice issues.
We struggle against all teams that just put in a strong simple workman like game especially if physical.
I want to know why we didn't play first 40 with the speed and urgency that we did in the third after going 4-3 behind.
