In the current climate Brit goalies must go abroad to further their careers, won’t cut the EIHL level if not. The infrastructure and ice time isn’t available here at good enough levels.
The only reason Bowns is as good as he is,is due to the fact that Cardiff took a punt in him.
This is just my opinion but I think that the CC games, every team should play their GB netminder, that way it gives them ice time.
The only way Warburton will make it in the EIHL is if he goes to America, improves his game & someone picks him up as a No1.

11/12 - 1 game - 1,000% (shutout)
12/13 - 48 games - 90.6%
13/14 - 52 games -90.8%
Then he joined Devils for the 14/15 season & beyond.
