Not a great game by any stretch but it'll do.
More concerned with the lack of face coverage in and around the place last night.
I'd say a good 60/40 in favour.
Not good.
Are that many people really exempt or will they just claim that to be the case because they can't be bothered?

A frankly flat, horrendous performance as a team with a few decent individual performances.
There was no urgency, physicality, drive or determination.
It's actually been a frequent showing at home recently.
I thought the hodgman and Eberle line mix was wrong, and with us struggling for decent offence after two periods Fox surprisingly didn't shake it up.
It's been pretty turgid hockey recently.

Take a look around the league Paul, read the forums, there isn't a set of fans out there that think their team are playing well, everyones fans are saying the same thing!
Their is plenty of other crap going on in ours and players lives, I am pretty sure our current precarious situation must affect the mental capacity to go out and play to one's best..

100% teams haven’t known if a games going to be on from one hour to the next, so it’s always tough to prepare.Jayboy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 23, 2021 8:13 amTake a look around the league Paul, read the forums, there isn't a set of fans out there that think their team are playing well, everyones fans are saying the same thing!

Yeah thats a fair point of course.
I think we've also been affected by the Injuries/short benched/chopping and changing players.
The mindset must be hard for the players for sure.

Can anyone convince Rock The Block to come back for the rest of the season?
Atmosphere is absolutely dire without them.

Are we just too lazy to create anything without them?Joesteeler wrote: ↑Thu Dec 23, 2021 4:41 pmCan anyone convince Rock The Block to come back for the rest of the season?

Seems to me the majority of people in attendance are just sat waiting to be told what to wave/sing or clap.
We even have the jumbotron telling us to 'make some noise' now.

The atmosphere has to come from the ice too, was a flat, emotionless performance for the most part. But got loud once we were showing heart towards the end to tie it up.Joesteeler wrote:Can anyone convince Rock The Block to come back for the rest of the season?

Was also decent when we were dominant in the 1st 10 minutes and firing at will on Starrett.
