Can anyone convince Rock The Block to come back for the rest of the season?
Atmosphere is absolutely dire without them.
Are we just too lazy to create anything without them?
We even have the jumbotron telling us to 'make some noise' now.
I don’t think so, because there’s sections of the crowd that start then the rest don’t bother to join in and it fizzles out. With RTB, when a chant started the vast majority joined in constantly.
With the jumbotron, I just think that’s an NHL idea they’ve taken tbh - it does seem though there’s no energy in the building until Dave Simms artificially manufactures it
To be honest I am finding it hard to cheer about anything at the moment, I know being at the hockey is supposed to cure the upset and trugery of everyday life but I really can't bring myself to be chanting during a game at the moment, yes I will stand up and cheer a goal and win especially, but my brain and body just didn't get the memo when it comes to not being a miserable so and so at the games at the moment
I tell myself I am enjoying the games, but life at the minute for me and many others is rather poor...
