Spoke to him a couple of times way back in the early days and both times he was pleasent and amicable with me, even as I was stood in my Steelers Shirt.. Sad news, thoughts are with his family and the club and fans he loved..

No time is a good time to lose a love one but it seems to impact more round Christmas.

When his son Paul played ( briefly) for Steelers he came to watch and sat close to us. He handled the good natured banter well and was happy to chat. He will be missed.
