Sheffield Steelers have announced the signing of swingman Evan Mosey - who returns for his second season with the club.

The Great Britain international scored 20 goals & 54 points while playing as both a forward and a defenceman last season.

Excellent news. Best skater on the team and productive in all situations. Have I misunderstood the hype? I thought there were 2 signings today?

Very good re-signing. Top level EIHL player on both forward & D.

Pleased to see Evan back and it's really great to have someone who can play either in Defence or Forward positions.

I did think he seemed to tail off towards the end of the season though, not sure whether he was carrying an injury though.

At 33 I would say he is very much at his peak now.

I think every player did exactly that, virtually every last one of them were walking wounded!
I was told that towards the end we would not have been able to put any more than 6 fully fit players on the ice, with some having no rights to be even be on the ice on a match night and that training some days were down to single figueres... :!:

I dont know how accurate that is, but I have no reason to disbelieve the person that told me... :wonder:

Absolute must re-sign from last years team.

An excellent forward and d-man couldn't hope for a better swing player in this league.

Glad to have him back for another season and to see what he can produce this year.
