It appears the hike in prices in down to the increase in fees.

It seems the arena have gone back to ticketmaster to sell tickets, which are extortionate

Ticketmaster is the worst. Can't choose your season ticket seats, Ticketmaster site keeps crashing and best of all 2 adult tickets are £16.60 each, PLUS £2 each Service charge, PLUS £1 each Facility charge, PLUS £2.50 Handling charge, total £42.30. What a rip off. No loyalty to season ticket holders again, plus they owe us 3 games from season 19/20 which is worth £90 to me and my partner. Won't be buying any tickets for this game and will be asking for my £90 back tomorrow.

After attending since season 3, and having STs for some years, this is it from us. Very difficult to justify the cost.

I feel for Tony Smith in situations like this, A dam big chunk of those rises are imposed by the Arena/Ticketmaster. the problem is, that is still the price you pay, whatever spin is put on it and to me highlights what great value for money a season ticket still is, but one think for sure, £20 a ticket for the hockey is way way to much, and £9 for a child is crazy

Think we’ll see increased prices for single game tickets league wide to cover Covid losses.

There’s already rumours of an agreed salary cap in 21/22 for one season only.

It won't cover the losses if people don't turn up.

It does look quite steep pricing.

Totally agree Doom. While I don’t attend lots of games, I’m even less likely to attend now. I think it’s too expensive and isn’t value for money for me I’m afraid.

Didn’t realise they’d gone with ticket master their fees are astronomical.

Recently bought two £25 tickets and with fees cost me £60.55.

This is really going make me have to pick and choose the games I see this season which is a shame as I was desperate for some hockey

Its a real pity we can't buy blocks of dates directly from the Steelers org, say 5 matches at a time... :zip:

I guess that Arena ticket office staff are still furloughed . Maybe they will revert back to them in September. I have a feeling that the Steelers will give us 3 x £5 games in lieu of the games owed.

Me too Jay.

Tony has done a fantastic job getting the crowd numbers up, I didn't think it could be done, but it shows what I know.

These increases are probably out of Tony's control, I just hope it's due to Ticketmaster and the arena take back control when the Pandemic starts to ease.

Sadly if this is the future price I can see it impacting on crowds. I'll still be there for all the Saturday night games, but it will undoubtedly put others off.
