Think the result really depends on how short-benched we are, if we can cobble together a squad of 17 we may have a chance against a decent, but not exceptional, Guildford side.

They will bring the same as always, good speed, slick transitional passing and hoot technical ability.

The next month or so won't guarantee winning the league but will play a crucial role in seeing whether we can be there or thereabouts and now that the never ending pointless challenge Cup games are out of the way significant league games come thick and fast now starting tonight.
Will we have enough bodies to get a win tonight with Hodgman possibly out now too.
There doesn't seem to be any end in sight to our injury crisis, and if it doesn't reverse soon, we could have major problems ahead.

A loooong trip back for Guildford from Fife.

Shame you can’t purchase a stream for the game. I would have thought from Steelers fans alone it would be worth a few hundred pounds for Guildford.

It is but having tanked in Fife I fear they may be out for blood tonight. Our blood. And not the orange blood our social media output seems to think we have.

The players still left must be on their knees and potentially open to more injuries due to being over played. It seems early in the season to be in this position but have we just been unlucky?
Hopefully we can come away with no more injuries and Aaron Fox will have to circle the wagons until help, in the form of returning or new players, arrives.

It can’t be easy for the fitter players to be playing lots of minutes. Although Davey Phillips said on the podcast that normally players would be moaning not playing enough minutes lol.

I said before a puck was dropped that I was concerned about our average age. Most players who are out are north of 30. In my tiny mind I’m convinced this is a major factor I’m afraid.

Usually I'd say the more veteran players would get better and stronger as the schedule progresses but atm I'm thinking the contrary.

Davey in particular looks spent.
