GAME THREAD: Steelers v. Stars.. Sun, 5th December.

[Jayboy]

In other news who is going to be the first to knock one of these stupid new cups over tonight?
No lid either, I can see the arena cleaning team tonight being busy..
Either that or we will all be stuck to the floor over Christmas

Seemed like we were on the pp for most of that period although Dundee were full strength.

5on3 pp gave us a 1 goal lead.

[SteelerBlade]

1-0 Steelers after 1.

Totally dominant and basically all of the play in the Dundee zone.

Mosey with the 5-on-3 goal.

Need to create a bit more in terms of good chances, had plenty of shots but mostly easy for Morrison. Dundee happy to sit in and park the bus but will now have to open up.

[SteelerBlade]

Sloppy and lazy in the second. It’s 2-1 Steelers, we thought we’d won it at 2-0 but if you take your foot off the gas and let teams gain momentum then they’ll stick around.

[steeler pete]

2-1 end of 2nd.

Dowd scrap to watch out for in highlights.

[Steeling thunder]

It really looks like top vs bottom in general play but the Dundee goalie has made some good saves to keep the score interesting.
We've not won this yet.

[Clowne57]

Freaky goal against us, karma for the strang goal last night ?

[SteelerBlade]

A pretty uneventful 3rd ends 3-1 in our favour.

Did what we had to do and that’s 4 points on the weekend.

[Steeling thunder]

Come on Flames!!

[smbmetal]

Dundee would normally be on my do not watch list. I decided to watch the stream mainly so I could see Vojtech play. Enjoyed Dowd’s scrap, doubt that guy will pick on Dowd again

Game was better than I thought it would be and am just glad of the 2 points and 4 point weekend.

Sorry Dundee you’ll remain on my do not watch list, with Fife.
