I did wonder if this would happen with Belfast playing the Panthers last weekend and the 3-5 day incubation before infection shows.

The Sheffield Steelers confirm that they have been advised this evening that our two weekend fixtures in Belfast against the Giants have been postponed due to several members of the Belfast team being tested positive for Covid.

With many of our supporters travelling to Belfast this weekend we can only apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. The SSSC have been advised and they will be contacting all who have booked travel and tickets with them.

With all EIHL teams working together to fulfil fixtures the Steelers have agreed to travel to Cardiff on Saturday for a game that will replace the fixture set for Wednesday 19th January.
