Job done. Coasted a bit too much towards the last ten minutes but did what we needed to do.
2 points and plenty in the tank for tomorrow after the long trip.

I thought ASD was great especially with length of time out.
Can't believe we needed an ENG to confirm the victory. Our shooting/finishing is needing a helluva lot of work.
I actually think we played pretty decent at times but Fife are pretty poor Owen notwithstanding

Well we got the win, but a very underwhelming game. Should have bags of energy left for tomorrow.

Dominated the game but unable to score.
Unfortunately I don't think our mid season signings are good enough and we're left relying on Vally, Dowd, Mosey and Eberle (when he gets fit) for our output.
I suspect the guy Cardiff brought in has scored more than Polak, Hodgman Sointu and Traversa combined.
We're still in a very good place, but Fox needs to consider whether the guys he's brought in can get us the results against Cardiff and Belfast.
He's been a good judge so far, so I'll go with him, but I can't say I wouldn't be unhappy to see a couple of late replacements.

Said it awhile back we needed to replace Deluca and Connellys goal output with at least one player who can score 25 plus goals a season don’t after be expensive Deluca was an excellent pick up midseason. Start looking through the college and Jr hockey players available

I was just having a look at the stats and to be fair Polak is heading for a 20 goal season, which is OK.
We need to be getting more out of Hodgman, Traversa and Sointu, because currently they're all around 10 goals or less for a full season, which isn't import level.
On paper we've lost around 50 goals with Connolly and DeLuca, but none of the new players are close to that.
They may bring other attributes, but I thought last night we looked short of quality in front of goal against a very poor Fife team.
Talking of Fife, what a fantastic turnout from their supporters.

I’d realise Traversa and Valdix and use their wages to bring in a goal scorer, why have just bodies filling the roster for injuries if their not making the impact expected? Dead wood. We’ve had great results playing short benched this season I’d sooner have one player that’s making the desired impact than 2 that have zero to little.
Just my 2 pence worth.

Hodgman has been a major disappointment to me, the number of times he is presented with a great opportunity in front of goal and chooses to skate around the back of the net or wait and delay attempting to score, I wish he'd put more effort into scoring than handing out pucks at every opportunity.
Both him and Ellerby are not living up to their CV's
