I've not seen any evidence that TS is against physical play, I believe he wants to see entertaining hockey and with that , winning hockey. It is possible to have physical as well as entertaining hockey of course but again I've never heard him say he's against it. The owners job is to ensure a profitable business so that the club can invest on and off the ice and for me that is exactly what he's done, he's bought the players that the coach has wanted and clearly supported the building of the off ice requirements. Style of play and results are the responsibility of the coach, now I'm not having a go at Fox here, he knows he will be judged on those things and not being successful will result in losing his job as is the case in all professional sports, especially amongst those clubs that are expected to win things. The league isn't over yet , neither is the cup and the playoffs haven't started. Lets make a judgement at the end of the season, if we haven't won anything then it's fair to start discussing a coaching change.

I think that's a really insightful post. I do feel we don't/havent quite reached our full potential these last couple of years. Is it systems and line choices, is it not letting them off the leash physically a bit more, is it poor motivating from the coach?
I would always subscribe to the logic that if the players can't do what they're told, then you need new players. If however the players won't do what they're told, then you need a new coach.
