Listening to Matts interview he’s very astute in the fact he’s going to approach this season as a marathon he strikes me of the type that is always analysing and assessing his and others performances, he alludes to the fact fitness is key something which in the last playoff game against Cardiff was very apparent with a lot of our players fitness was a big issue last season.

Probably top of most supporters lists of returning players next season, certainly top of mine.
I'm not sure I'd describe him as the best netminder in the league, I'd give that honour to Besko, but he was certainly our most consistent performer who gave us a chance to win every night.
Now to upgrade the forwards and defence......didn't we say the same at the start of last season?
Regards

Late to the party but…
Great signing! Didn’t think we’d be capable of retaining his services. Is a very good Netminder who could possibly ply his trade at a higher level (ICEHL etc).
.920 at EIHL level is tough to find in the market so to re-sign someone who achieved that in 22/23 is impressive.
Hopefully more additions of this quality to come.

I've heard various other rumours, I won't be sharing them. Great signing, well done to everyone involved. Let's see Eberle and DeLuca returning please.
Also, @Jayboy Dowd, Jones and Whis signed 2 years at the start of last season. Sorry if I sound like an idiot, just a reminder to build up that sidebar.

I just realized if things turn out like the last two seasons, the backup will be better than the original no. 1. We're signing Vasilevsky!
