Perfect weekend, took the first period off but we generated 52 shots so we’re always likely. Good to see our lower order doing the business.

It's good to see and hopefully this will get them going.

We really do need more production further down the lineup, because as fantastic as Vally has been, we can't keep expecting him to dig us out of a hole.

Vallerand : 20G - 21A - 41 points
Latel : 12G - 14A - 26 points
Mosey : 10G - 16A - 26 points
Dowd : 11G - 13A - 24 points
Todd : 3G - 18A - 21 points
Hodgeman : 4G - 16A - 20 points

You take Vallerand out our team & we are lacking a top end goalscorer & points outlay.

Four point weekend, but done it the hard way as per.

With Cardiff and Belfast hopefully taking points off each other next weekend, a chance to try and stretch a little gap. But it won't be easy though.

Even though we've only lost 1 in regulation of our last 17, it does feel like we've been well below our best recently.

I'd be interested to see us try the same top two forward lines we had when we thrashed Belfast:

Sointu/Hodgman/Mosey
Dowd/Eberle/Vally

No guarantee they'd work again, but it would be interesting to see.

We'd have to fit the rest of the forwards into lines 3 and 4.

We need to get all our defence men back and healthy to get Mosey back up playing forward. We are lucky he can play both positions well but he does seem to do extremely well as a forward.
