The days of fighting to prove you're the biggest pooch on the porch are long gone.

However, I've no issue with Heard answering the bell under these circumstances. You don't want the opposition taking liberties and trying to intimidate, so in this case Heard was right to drop the gloves and make a point.

If he does it under these circumstances rather than due to a red mist moment when he loses it (aka a Scott Allison ), I've no issue....more power to his elbow.

Gutted I missed this one. Great atmosphere as well. Who says the physical play doesn’t get the crowd going? Louder than a goal.

To be honest I’m quite pleased with ‘just’ a fine. I thought with fighting not during play would have brought a tougher penalty.

It will be interesting to see what happens the next Storm game which is on December the 30th. A year 2000 (almost New Year’s Eve) classic I wonder?
