Saw a report yesterday that permission had been granted for a new 3000 seat rink in Manchester, It has to be better than what they have but for a City that large it still sounds too small, same mistake as Cardiff made ?

We are spoilt for sure with what we have at the arena but I would hate to play out of a place so small...

Wonder if Tansey, Richie & Tremblay will be available for this one?

Always a difficult place to go for any team.

3-2 Steelers.

I'd give Greenfield this one and give McAdam the Dundee game on Sunday.

Totally agree - makes no sense to me and feels so short sighted… I was there at the 16,000+ game at the Ninex (or whatever it was called back then), you’d have thought this would surely have been on the developers radars. Surely a Nottingham size arena model would’ve been the minimum? Same for Cardiff, particularly with their rich tradition and being the capital… I don’t get it.

This is what I always have to remind myself of.
Whenever we complain about results or the noise or anything really, I just imagine having to go to a rink like Altrincham week after week.
Manchester really needs a bigger and better venue.
