Breaking News: Nick Seitz Joins the Flames - Confirmed
GAME THREAD: Steelers v Giants Saturday, 9th April 7:00pm

This is certainly make or break time now.
Thrashing the Storm in our previous game will help with confidence.
We do seem to match up well to Belfast and we are certainly playing well at home.
I've gone for a tight 4-3 Steelers win in regulation.
Rok to play, can't imagine Brust will be trusted.

Rok will start for sure.
Brust has been a waste of time tbh.

I agree tight 4-3 win would be lovely. Glad we've recovered from our skid and have some confidence throughout the lineup for the weekend most importantly perhaps Rok, who has been good all season, particularly after Barry went down against Dundee.smbmetal wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 12:06 pmThis is certainly make or break time now.

Would expect an identical line up from Wednesday's 8-2 win to keep the momentum and confidence going.
It's sure to be a good weekend and hopefully one that sees us with 4 points at the end of it!

Bit harsh on Barry, thought he had a really good run where he was the clear number one to be honest.Nathan wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 1:31 pmSteelers win for me. Just.smbmetal wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 12:06 pmThis is certainly make or break time now.

Obviously has been injured or unfit or ill quite a bit though, but a waste of time seems harsh, I'm sure he's helped share his experience with Rok and Warburton as well.

Barry was/is at his best clearly a better netminder than Rok, so saying he was a waste of time is a little below the belt, but for me they have just about combined to do a job for us this season, but I personally think Fox needs to thank them and start looking for new talent.. I would be very underwhelmed if we got either of them back in my opinion..
To me neither are Steelers quality keepers..

Form goes out of the window at this point. It’s commitment, work ethic and desire that will see the victors through now.
The result is the only thing that matters.

Definitely all about the result at this point - hope we come out with the same intensity as Wednesday night and get on them early. A win on Saturday pushes us towards getting the title but also means Belfast couldn't win it on Sunday even with a regulation win.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 4:37 pmForm goes out of the window at this point. Both teams will be fired up and ready to go, hopefully 2 good games and 4 points for the Steelers come Sunday evening.
