First of the weekend double header, I dont think its to early to say that this weekend could define our season or at the very least give us a very clear picture about our chances of winning the league title..

Tough one to call this double-header fixture as they usually are to be fair.
Belfast aren't quite the side of last year and I don't know where they stand on the injury front.
For me, we've not really being playing our best hockey for most of 2023. We will need to really up our game if we want a positive result(s).
Therefore, I've gone for a split weekend.
Hopefully much more entertaining to watch than our last two games (Glasgow & Manchester) which for me were a dire watch
3-2 Steelers.

Certainly need to be much better to stand a chance then we have recently. Belfast not as good as last year but still bags of quality and plenty of dangerous goalscorer.
Anything but our very best and we’ll lose both fixtures.

Have we travelled back to Sheffield after the cup game or stayed overnight & crossed to Belfast today?
We usually fly out on the morning of the Friday game & tiredness is a factor after early morning start. If we travelled home this will compound this!

They’ve stayed over in Scotland. That will certainly help.

I wasn't feeling very confident at all, but the re-signing of Vallerand certainly gives us a boost and makes us look more potent up front.
Our powerplay has also just gone up a notch.

Vally will bring energy and scoring to the team. A good team that have been a little drained of those 2 elements recently.
I’m a cautious optimist so I think we’ll win this one and tomorrow will go to OT, so a weekend win for us
