Sheffield SteelStings vs Manchester Mayhem 2/7/23

so not sure how many of you lot are aware of Sheffield's Para-ice hockey organisation the Sheffield Steelkings but the season is underway right now over the summer. They have 2 teams: Steelkings and SteelStings the "B(ee)-team" that both play in the same British Para Ice hockey league alongside teams from Cardiff, Manchester (though playing out of PI Widnes this season) and Peterborough.

Anyhoo

This weekend sees the SteelStings take on the team from Manchester. Hopefully Manchester are a little bit tired after taking on the Sheffield SteelKings at home the previous afternoon. would love to see as many of you lot down there if you fancy a free afternoon of hockey.

Face off: 16:40 Sunday 2/7/23 (probably best to get down about 30-45 mins before that)
Location: Ice Sheffield Pad 2 (public rink with approx 150 seated in the stand plus cafe seating/standing rinkside )
Entry Price: Free/gratis/kostenlos/cost thi' nowt tha knows
also available: Free car park,
Merch desk with 50/50, raffle, and tombola also. With all proceeds going back into the club.

smidge of a bump but also a little bit to say that today before the game there will be a minutes applause/stick tap in memory of Alex Graham so anyone who is coming is advised to get down a little early.
