GAME THREAD: Sheffield Steelers v Cardiff Devils Saturday, 23rd December 7:00pm
Moderator: Mods
First biggest league game of the season for me this one.
The two best defences, goalies and scorers in the league. We've played on Wednesday and they play tonight (22nd) against Glasgow. Rest and recovery advantage to us.
What a fantastic chance to open up a 6 point gap with a game in hand. We might need those points lead if we run into injury trouble later on.
It wouldn't be the end of the world if we lost this one, but I'd love us to go out there with a statement win.
Hope it's a real cracker of a game to set us up for the Christmas run of games.
3-1 Steelers!
Merry Christmas!

The Christmas period could really define the rest of our season.
Hopefully we can make a statement of intent in this one and give ourselves a bit of breathing space.
Cardiff have enjoyed most of their trips to Sheffield in the last year or so, let's make this one an unpleasant visit.
I believe we are a better team than them, but if we're not at 100% we'll lose. No slow start in this one like their last visit, we need to be at them from the off.
I wonder if the new Devils defenceman will be available for this.
Regards
