Which by and large is what we have all been say bar a couple of fans, who lets face it are entitled to their opinion and to some extent have a point with some of their observations, John_26 in particular couldn't stomach the hockey anymore, but how on earth does that actuate to Steeltalk not liking the hockey at the moment?Bryan wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 11:00 pmThis season sadly shows only too clearly what a terrible decision it was to appoint Thompson. During that era we got used to the stress of supporting our team while not liking our team. What was even worse was the club, through its officials, falling out with its own supporters.
This team have got better as the season has gone by and I have been hugely entertained most evenings. Sometimes I have enjoyed a game when someone on here has found it dull or boring so we don’t all see the same thing. We have a coach who can recruit better than in previous years and has now proved himself during the season too. Some few minor adjustments, mainly in the D, next season and we should be flying.

Warning I feel a rant coming on...NinjaBreadMark wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 9:04 amI think some people just like to have a moan. I have to admit to being a bit of a lurker on the Devils and Panthers forums, and all(*) the folks on there are constantly(**) berating their own teams as much as anyone else's.
It's a bit crazy to say that an entire forum has a certain opinion tho... I always thought the purpose of forums was for people to share lots of different opinions with each other.

I totally agree that some fans have that very same view but to call them posters refers to this forum.. and then to say they dont accept the change, is again referring to them never being happy..Octopussy wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 2:32 pmI've been very positive about the team this season.
There are some posters who just don't seem able to accept the change from the more physical/nasty style of hockey and as a result never seem happy, but I accept times have changed and enjoy the sport for what it is.
