People say the CC is pointless...
I don't think the trophy is pointless, however the format makes a mockery of it.

Needs a serious rethink imo.
I agree, if they could maybe do it like the EFL and allow the lower league teams to compete it might be a bit better.
Is it bedtime yet

The CC is harder to win than the playoffs but there’s too many dead rubber games in the group stages. A straight knock out competition would be better I think with perhaps a couple of the lower league teams thrown in.

I see Storm hammered the Panthers 5-1 last night. They’ll be coming in with their tails up that is for sure tonight.

Think we should win this comfortably although I don't think we'll hammer them like Cardiff did. Not sure with the present confidence and results that Fox will want to start a second string net minder though. Maybe for the second half of the game if we've made a strong start.

BTW the header for the poll needs editing (Dundee Storm?).
3-1 Steelers end of the first. Easy, easy , easy.

As you say Steeler Pete. Comfortable

Nothing good about the Storm. Give minutes to Whistle and Graham. Swap the goalie half way though.

It does look all one way at the moment. Their goal came (after we had a great spell) against the run of play.

We’ve missed a couple of good chances too. Whistle and Graham have had a couple of good shifts.

We were pretty soft for that Storm goal. Otherwise generally dominating and looking a lot speedier, sharper passing. Allen a faceoff machine and Brandon has created a couple of v decent goal scoring chances. Hope we keep up the pace and intensity.

Pete Spencer reckons Sam is an injury but plans to check with Fox in post game interview.

No change in net as Greenfield skates out between the pipes.
