There was no blame on the refs. They should have evened up when Connolly got his first penalty. There was a terrible icing call too.
But ALL the blame lies with the Steelers. The coach. The players. I had a chat with Jay pre game. I said underestimate Dundee at your peril. They have good players. They work hard as a team. If we dont take the game seriously we could lose. All this 6-0, 6-1 predictions were astounding me.
We played like we did earlier in the season. Harlem globetrotters hockey. We didn't get down to business. We underestimated them. That's 4-5 games on the trot where weve played badly. Admittedly we won a couple and there was sickness around.
No excuses now. That was very very poor.

Got to agree that we underestimated them. We were outworked and tactically out-played. We had no answer to their high forecheck. We tried to make too many fancy passes and I have to wonder why Liwing who had been playing well and fully fit was replaced by Hrabal returning from injury when Benny was out thru suspension. Think that was a mistake and Cole was not up to filling his boots. I like Cole but that’s not the way to use him.

Very disappointing and has put a major dent in our title hopes especially as Cardiff pulled off a SO win in Cov.

Tomorrow is a must, must win!

AWFUL! Absolute rubbish. Ill disciplined, falling over with the Puck. On the PK and some halfwit decides to send on a 5th outplayer. And he steps on the ice in front of a official and then wonders why we are called for too many men. Its pee we league stuff we are getting called on.
Certainly abstaining for the Belfast game next week.
Oh. Well played Dundee.. Owned us on our own pad.

I agree we did needed to win tonight but was commenting after we’d lost. Never said we could afford to lose it, but we do still have a small lead and Cardiff must win their games in hand to take advantage. They probably should do it but we all would be foolish to count their chickens...

What I meant is if there is still a realistic hope for us we have to get back to winning and continue to do so. The Cardiff team this year are not the team they were.

One to forget. But well played Dundee, up there with one of the best away performances at the arena this season.

Seasons not over yet though.

Outworked, outthought and outbattled. Dundee also pinged the pipes four times. Decision making was awful and we had no energy at all.

Dundee played a very good, very simple game and we had no answer tonight.

Was Thommo guest coaching tonight because we haven’t played that bad since he left.Looked like a team who’ve never played together.

That was about as poor as it gets.

I don't know what's gone wrong, but this wasn't the Steelers team I was watching a few weeks ago.

They need to sort this out PDQ otherwise all the good work this season could unravel very quickly.

Well played to Dundee, they took full advantage of our below par performance.

Performances have been on the decline for 6-8 games and we got away with too many.

Something isnt right. Brock is a shadow of himself since AJ has returned.

The team looks unhappy and not as one
