Manchester double their lead 6-4. Jake Bricknell.

Manchester take it 6-4.

An evening to forget with endless penalties and conceding 6 to a side like Manchester is always a poor night at the office, albeit with McLaughlin in goal.

Need to produce much better against a decent Fife outfit tomorrow.

Ultimately the result means nothing, hopefully no suspensions or injuries.

Well we have put it in Manchesters hands now to progress in the Challenge Cup . They have to beat the Panthers tomorrow, its up to them. The most concerning stat for them is that our back up goalie had a better save percentage that their first string :peek:

Might make the next league game interesting. Looks like some real rivalry developing here.

Would expect Mitchell will get a game’s suspension.

Remember the New Year’s Eve brawl of 2000? Same season as the bench clearance in Nottingham. Also the Grand Slam season.

Was that the year we went out to heavy snow and the Penines were shut so they were stuck :D

I think so. There was certainly a year when we played Manchester that certainly happened, I remember Simmsy saying over then PA that the Snake & Woodhead was closed, then the M62 later on.
