Just watched the highlights and it seems to me it was all about protecting Ohrvall. Somewhat understandable given his 2 recent high hits but if he's that vulnerable why play him? If he's in the game he's there to battle with, legally of course and I didn't see anything to justify over-reaction.
Bad blood if it's sustained will make for interesting future ties I agree but at what cost? The officials don't need much of an excuse to penalise us. I didn't see anything I thought deserved supplementary discipline but we'll see.
Last night's result may have been different if Greenfield had been in goal. I know it was a dead rubber and don't have a problem with trying McLoughlin out/resting Greenfield so we move on.

Great highlights. Looks like we gave as good as we got and don’t look to have been bullied. I expect more from McNally though when the rough stuff starts, he appears anonymous to me.steeler pete wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 11:54 amJust watched the highlights and it seems to me it was all about protecting Ohrvall. Ruddy might get a game suspension for going after Phillips who was a non combatant in that incident. Ruddy clearly feels that he wanted retribution for Phillip’s hit. No issues with that from me.
Can’t wait for the New Year’s games already!

Might even be more than 1 game as a repeat offender but that’s up to DOPS

Great highlights, that game sets up our next home game nicely, obviously it's great to see Jordan get a start... I hope when he looks back on the game he can learn from some of those he let in and take some coaching on rebounds etc..smbmetal wrote: ↑Mon Nov 07, 2022 8:20 amhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6DtuPNLzO0
