Liam Kirk has been recalled to the Arizona Coyotes of the NHL.

Kirk has currently been icing with their ECHL affiliate team Atlanta Gladiators and has recorded 11 points (5G+6A) from 15 games for them this season

This looks to be from a reliable source and if so indicates to me that Coyotes still rate him and want him playing at a higher level than the ECHL. Maybe test him out who knows, but playing in Liiga in one of the top world leagues is no shame.

They are obviously easing him in gradually: starting with a mere 17m 52s on ice and only 4691 metres skating. Oh, and an assist.

I would have thought playing in less physical leagues will suit Kirk. More room to show his skills.

Hope he does really well as I believe moving to Europe makes it even harder to get called up to the NHL.

Just been checking up on how "Our Kirky" is doing....

In 19 games he's got :

5 Goals - 9 Assists - 14 points.
