Being new I haven't seen Vallerand play, but his reputation is known to me. I look forward to seeing him on the ice soon.

Vallerand brings the X factor to the forward lines, a genuine goal scorer with the ability to do things that cannot be coached. He will make us stronger.

Great news!!

For me Mitchell can go - imo he's been invisible in most games since finally reaching Sheffield....
I think I would agree there.

I have to say from a physicality point of view I've been impressed with his finishing of checks pretty much every shift, he reminds of a poor man's Chris Szysky with that side of his game.

I firmly believe he's on a leash from Fox though to not stir up any trouble, which then makes him pretty much ineffective. I actually thought the Connolly, Mitchell & McNally line against the Storm on New Year's Eve was very effective and brought energy and physicality.

Unfortunately he doesn't bring much skill or goal scoring wise, so would have to be moved on.

Huge signing that can turn our season around, knows where the net is, will score goals no problem in this league.

Long way to go this season & having Vally back will help us no end.

Might be too little too late for me. Was pleased to see him score and his passing and general play is a step up compared to most of our team.

I watched both games in Belfast and although the results went the wrong way I thought Vallerand made a big contribution, both games were much closer than the results, 3-3 in the first until the last few mins and penalties in the second one.
I think when hes had a week with the current team and the lines are adjusted to suit him we will be much better.
Vallerand shoots on sight, something I wish some of our other forwards did.
