Yet again beaten by our stupid penalties. I dread to think how many points am an ally and Connolly have cost us this season. These people can’t learn and Fox appears not to teach them. It’s a fatal combination.
Steelers podcast complete with a little dig at the Steeltalk forum of old.

Well he's right, the Steeltalk of old was a nasty place inhabited by all sorts of trolls and general assholes , but then we banned him and it's been a much nicer place since.smbmetal wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 10:04 pmSteelers podcast complete with a little dig at the Steeltalk forum of old.

I thought they tried hard tonight and it could have gone either way. I suppose the refs decided it in a way. Why do they spoil games by giving very marginal penalties decisions in the last few minutes ? I don't mind obvious fouls given but why not let the players decide it rather than give petty infringements as I believe they did tonight.
Guildford played well, they seem to be younger and faster , maybe this is what we should look for in recruiting next year. They pounced on loose pucks before we could get there.
Glad we showed some spirit at 1-3 down to get a point in the end. The win obviously meant a lot to the Flames as they celebrated as if they had won the Stanley Cup at the end. I suppose that's a compliment to us in a way.
