It's a cracking venue, city centre location. Easy access with good transport links. Has good food choice inside (take note sheffield arena) that isnt massively overpriced. The playing arena, seating, ice is actually very very good.
I enjoyed my trip there yesterday (except for the result).

It’s always been a great venue the NIC their scoreboard and instant on lighting and graphics on the ice are light years ahead of the Sheffield arena.

The inner concourse at our arena is great though.

I still think Sheffield should host one of the trophies. With a bigger capacity perhaps ticket prices could fall so that more people would be able to afford it rather then the millionaires price :D :D

Agree with all of the above, my only complaint is the concourse and toilets.
Both are too small and inadequate.

Forgot to mention those very same negatives!

Agree that Nottingham is the best venue for the event but the league definitely needs to do something to spruce the weekend up and justify the ticket prices. There were a lot of empty seats across the weekend and I don't think it was worth the price I paid (attended Saturday only paying £62.00 for the day ticket). They still need to make use of a lot more of Bolero Square with various stalls I think. Would be nice to have period break entertainment or stuff on between the games. More to get the fans involved with competitions and stuff.

Should be £40 for the day.

£20 a game, you would see the Arena packed out at those prices.

I heard that the NIC has spent £10m on the catering facilities and £360k on lights. I thought it was brighter in there but wondered if it was just whiter ice.
And I've heard that Sheff Arena will aso be getting new lights.
