We are looking forward to this game.. Absolutely nothing to do with playing Les Panthères either..
I am always keen to see the new team first hand... And form my immediate first impressions

First pre-season game is my favourite game of the season. After a three month or so hockey hiatus, the current typical disappointment of the previous season, missing the faces and company off and on ice, the hope, the anticipation, the expectation, the first look at how the new line up looks. Can't be beaten!!

Let's go Steelers!

I always look forward to the first game of the season, it's always exciting to see what the lines will be and how the new guys look. A full house will also add to the entertainment factor (well done Steelers management).

It will be a very tough game, the Panthers have been on the ice a week longer than us and look like they've signed a very mobile team, although maybe lack a bit of size in the forwards.

I'm expecting the Panthers top line to be the best one on the ice, but we look to have a bit more depth.

The players I'm looking forward to watching the most are Saucerman and Juusola, because I can see them being key to our success this season.

See you all there on Saturday.

Regards

Hope there's a stream, as the seats I would normally choose went a little while ago.

Great to see sensible pricing and a healthy crowd.

Hope the game has some feistiness to it like the Cardiff & Belfast pre-season games had.

Looking forward to seeing how Saucerman, Tansey and Watling play.

Result's not really important but it would be great to start off with a win.

Not interested in pre-season games in the slightest.

I'll make my judgement on the team after 3 or 4 competitive games.

Could be a sell out too, less than 700 seats left..
