Steelers updates via twitter have been pathetic, literally the scores at the end of each period, shouldn’t have to follow the game on the oppositions feed to know how the game is going! Hopefully more updates will follow on this thread once people who have attended get home/find the time to comment

Standouts for me Watling and Balmas, defence looks solid kept pants to middle all night, Notts defence was a shocking and Rok kept them within reach or it would of been a cricket score. Nice work from dowdy that Michauds a pest!

A very, very pleasant surprise. A fully deserved win and 2 of 3 players that I was looking forward to seeing play (Watling & Tansey) did not disappoint. Tansey really did not mess about and not since Dion Darling have I seen a defender go after somebody and then sort them out.

For a pre-season game I thought we looked pretty sharp. Panthers looked poor though.

Vallerand looked off the pace though, but it is only the first game after all.

Please Mr Fox let the players play their natural game. Don’t stamp out the physical play.

Peter Spencer is the one to follow for updates. Steelers haven't given proper updates for a long time now
