Pete Spencer’s Twitter has a translation of an interview with Victor Björkung who was on the ice at the time. Appears to clarify a few points.

Can you post please as I don't have a twitter account.

Hopefully this link works and it translates back into English.

Really classy of them to touch base with Matt Petgrave.

It's been 5 days now and I still can't believe it. I cannot begin to imagine what his family are going through at this time. It's got to be absolute hell for them.

I really want to go back in time and prevent what happened.

I can't help but think about what was going through his mind in the immediate aftermath of the hit. Fortunately the medical training tells me that he probably only had a few seconds of useful consciousness to realise what had happened before he passed out.

The guys and girls on the ice who were there trying their best - my heart goes out to you. I've been there (fortunately not a trauma situation) and it is very difficult to process afterwards. Please talk to someone if you're struggling.

I've wanted to post something all week and struggled to find the words. All of the above posts have been so eloquent and said exactly what myself and so many others must be thinking. I would just like to add a thought for the on ice officials that night. They were in the midst of everything and will be equally as traumatised. They will no doubt have support from the EIHL and their families, but they do not have clubs/fanbases like ours and Nottingham sending them support. I wasn't at the game on Saturday, so I don't know who the officials were, but they are certainly in my thoughts.

Not afraid to admit that reading Mr Fearnley's words brought a tear to my eye.

A very well written article. An insightful read.

Much better than the big 2 page spread in the Daily Mail today.

Game On

How heartwarming is it to see and hear all these tributes for adam , not just from our shores but from all over the world, just gives you a warm feeling that there are so many good people out there and that if everybody pulls in the right direction the world is a better place

Have to say after everything that’s happened this last couple of weeks I am more than disappointed with the tweet Dave Simms has posted.
I find that totally inappropriate and disrespectful. I hope you have all seen this, and regarding the Steelers lost revenue of £80k plus because Panthers have pulled out the cup & £20k lost on what I assume is the Halloween jersey the question has to be asked how much do you put on the price of a life ..... whatever Steelers have lost I assume Panthers will have lost aswell in revenue . I never thought anyone could stoop soo low and to make the Steelers look soo insensitive. I am truly speechless.

One of my friends just whatsapped the tweet, it is really classless.

I’m shocked your club are ok with some of his social media stuff.

Have to say that sort of tweet is likely to go viral and will do your club no favours. This is such a sensitive situation.

When you say "our club" is ok, many of us are not ok about it. He embarrasses us on a regular basis and it's no surprise that he is the one who has made a crass posting. The only person who can do something about it is the owner who is too gutless to act.
